OnePageCRM is based on the premise that the big CRM Vendors provide too much functionality and were not good enough at simple tasks and contact management.

For example, when cold calling using most larger CRM systems you'd have to drill down, find the right account, gather data, make the call, make updates, go back to list, repeat and rinse.

The alternative is to use a list in Excel, but this may be hard to navigate and does not provide the context about the lead that a CRM system can. Plus, when calls are postponed because the contact is not available, it is not easy to flag them for a later call.

OnePageCRM was designed as a sales process support tool based on the GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology, not a technology solution. By analysing what sales people need to do, OnePageCRM built a sales-focused CRM system aimed at helping a sales manager be more effective. OnePageCRM is a task manager that prioritises the actions of the salesperson, making the ones that are more important or urgent bubble up to the top of the list.

  1. Focus on that One Next Action - Inspired by GTD, OnePageCRM encourages upfront decision making on every contact. Focusing on that one next action ensures that leads and prospects are constantly being moved through your sales process to success.
  2. A Dynamic List of Contacts - OnePageCRM sorts your contacts according to their next action and creates a dynamic list which prioritizes your time. One look at your main screen and you know what actions you need to take now, today and tomorrow. That’s uncluttered focus on what’s important.
  3. Keep CRM Essentials on One Page - Keeping the CRM fast and simple to use was not a design decision to be different, but imperative to ensuring continued everyday usage. Sales actions are not long administrative chores, but a multitude of nudges required to get a prospect over the line.

The interface combines contact management with task management. Urgent action items bubble up and are flagged with a colour scheme.

Interactions can be scheduled, reclassified, postponed, plus when a contact is selected, all available data as well as previous interactions are pulled up in a 'Snapshot' to help the sales person better understand the context so as the conversation go 'smoother'.

The sales person can also click through to publicly available information about the contact such as LinkedIn profile, Twitter stream and Facebook info.

Once a callback is entered, be it in the next 10 minutes or six months down the road, the task will bubble up to the top of the list when the time is right.
